Why a mitzvah campaign

Every pledge moves the count.

A mitzvah campaign asks your community for something other than money: a promise to light candles, learn, visit, or say a blessing, as many times as each person chooses. Every promise adds to one goal everybody can watch climb.

People pledge in seconds, with no card and no checkout. Friends pledge together as teams, the newest doers appear on the wall, and your event can put the count on the big screen.

How it works

One mitzvah at a time.

Add the mitzvahs you want done, let people pledge, let teams pledge together, and watch every doer arrive in the portal.

Teams

Friends, classes and shuls pledge together.

Every team gets its own page and its own mitzvah goal. A pledge made on a team page counts toward that team, and supporters can start a team of their own from the campaign page.

  • A mitzvah goal and progress bar for every team
  • Pledges on a team page count toward the team
  • Supporters create their own teams
  • “With” the team on each doer’s card

Room for the mitzvah you didn’t list.

Under your mitzvahs, “Click Here to do a Mitzvah of your choice” opens the same pledge with a blank to describe it. It counts toward your goal and appears on the wall in the doer’s own words.

  • Doers describe their own mitzvah
  • Other Amount for any number of times
  • A digit cap on how large Other Amount can go
  • Counted toward the same goal

Bonus goal

Keep going after you pass your goal.

Add a bonus round and, once the count passes your goal, the bar grows a second stretch in its own colour with the bonus goal under it. Like the goal, a bonus goal is a number of mitzvahs.

  • A second goal once the first is reached
  • The bar marks the original goal with a check
  • A bonus goal counted in mitzvahs
  • Turn a round on or off from the portal
