The race is the reason. The teams raise the money.
A run, a walk or a ride gives your community a day to show up for. Participants register and pay on your campaign page, and every one of them runs for a team with its own goal and its own page to share.
A kickoff donation at sign-up goes straight to the runner’s team, friends and family give to the team from there, and your home page shows the total climbing. On the day, volunteers are in place and every participant is checked in with the pass in their inbox.

Add price tiers with their own start and end dates, and the sign-up page offers only the one that is open today. Sell shirts and other extras with sizes, and choose which of them count as a donation.

Every runner raises for a team.
Participants join a team as they register or start one of their own, which goes live once they have paid. Each team has its own page and goal, and its runners appear on it as they sign up.
